We are Mari and Lucas, a Brazilian couple photographing other couples. Our work is built around movement, connection and the kind of moments that happen when people are actually living the day rather than performing for the camera. We are currently based in Brazil and available for destination weddings in Italy. From 2028, Italy will also become home.

We guide when it helps — a word about the light, a small movement, a moment for the two of you — and then we step back. Most of the day, we simply watch and photograph what is already happening.
That leaves you free to be with your guests, enjoy dinner and stay on the dance floor. The photographs still carry intention: light, composition and the feeling of the day, without asking you to put it on hold.
Italy through our eyes.
In 2026 we spent time in Rome, Florence and across Tuscany — walking the cities, driving through the countryside and paying attention to the light, the architecture and the pace of each place.
That trip became part of a longer plan: from 2028, Italy will also be home. Until then, we are based in Brazil and available to travel for weddings in Italy.

When you book Os Tartari’s, Mari and Lucas photograph your wedding in person. We don’t work with parallel teams, and we take only one wedding per date.

We are available for weddings throughout Italy — Tuscany, Rome, the Italian Lakes or wherever your celebration takes place.
